Hi, I am Marcos Lerma. I am a certified funny Austin based Comedy Screenwriter with roots established in the  Chicago Improv Comedy Community.

After spending a ton of money to become funny, I am looking to start a long fulfilling career in comedy.  This money went to a couple degrees and a shit ton of “comedy classes” at theatres like The Second City, The IO Theater, The Annoyance Theatre & Bar (half of the investment went to the bar)  and  Austin based theatre; The Hideout. 

I currently hold a MFA in Screenwriting with a Comedy Concentration from DePaul University to accompany my BA in Dramatic Media (DRAMA/Theatre) from a school you have never heard of; Texas Lutheran University. I also have another BA in in Communications Studies from Texas Lutheran University.
